the ID Provider driver is in running state.

Re: ID Provider Driver is returning -1 as Next ID

I had a similar error, it was because the IDM engine was unlicensed,
when I installed the IDM 4.0.2 license the problem resolved itself.

You can run the client from the server console as well and see what you
get, you can also enable tracing on the ID Provider driver, check the docs.

/opt/novell/eDirectory/lib64/nds-modules/jre/bin/java -noverify
-classpath /opt/novell/eDirectory/lib/dirxml/classes/idprovider.jar
com.novell.idm.idprovider.IDClient

Re: ID Provider Driver is returning -1 as Next ID

This sounds like an explanation:
>> ID.txt :IDProviderShim: Error: policy "wfid" not registered.
