Installing AD Driver 4.0. Error with missing schema DirXML

Hi All,

I install IDM 4 successfully on one of our server using integrated
installer. When i tried to deploy the AD driver using Designer, i got
this error message :

It works just fine in my DEV labs. When i tried to install in PROD, i
have this issue

My environment is a mixed with another driver set runs on IDM 3.6.1.

Really appreciate any suggestion what should i do, i'm not an expert in
IDM 🙂

Thanks
Danny

Re: Installing AD Driver 4.0. Error with missing schema DirXML

Re-extend the schema on the box since apparently it did not extend fully;
are there any errors, especially about schema, in the install log file(s)?

/opt/novell/eDirectory/bin/idm-install-schema

If that works for you then great, but that's probably all you need to do.
You'll be prompted for eDir credentials during this process I assume.

Good luck.

Re: Installing AD Driver 4.0. Error with missing schema DirXML

Hello ab, how can i do that? I mean how can i re-extend the schema in
that server? what command and where is the schema file? I check the log
and no error showed at the schema check log.

Thanks
Danny

Aaron wrote the path in his first response to you:

/opt/novell/eDirectory/bin/idm-install-schema
