Integration activity - role creation, entityKey ignored

Created a simple workflow that is basically just a wrapper around an
integration activity that calls the createRoleRequest method.

Works fine at one customer (on UA 4.0.2 Patch A)
However another customer (on UA 4.0) - the role is created, but the CN
I supply for the role is not actually used.

On 4.0
It seems that the field - createRoleRequest/role/entityKey is ignored

Instead both the CN and display name are generated from the display
name field - createRoleRequest/role/name

Is this expected behaviour?

Greetings Alex,
Things are not the same in 4.0.2 as they were in 4.0.0. For example
in 4.0.2 there are 3 different fields for a Role:
ID/CN
Name
Description

in 4.0.0 and 4.0.1, when you create a Role we first set the Name and CN
as the same value. You then have to utilize modify to make the Name
something different.

So, yes the the behavior you are seeing is expected.

Thanks for confirming this - I'll live with identical display and CNs
for now. Hope to get the customer upgraded to the latest 4.x.x version
sometime this year.

Greetings Alex,
In the 4.0.0 set-up you could then add another IA activity where you
call to the setRoleLocalizedStrings or setRoleLocalizedStringsAid

https://www.netiq.com/documentation/idm401/agpro/data/bdux8cm.html

You would then be able to change the Display Name for example to be
different. This is the same endpoint you would use to add values for
the name & description for other languages as well.
