Intentionally throw error in workflow Condition activity?

In Designer, is there a way in ecmascript to throw a (generic/new) error
on command? Please note that this is server-side within a provisioning
workflow activity, not browser/form-side.

I'm building a workflow where there are 3 possible values coming into a
'Condition' activity: -1, 0, and 1.

I'd like it to do something like this (pseudo-code):

Code:
--------------------
if (value == 1) return true;
if (value == 0) return false;
if (value == -1) throw new Error();
--------------------

But I can't seem to find the right ecmascript/Java syntax. I realize I
could use 2 'Condition' activities in succession, but this happens
several times and this would be so much cleaner!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Alex
