Lotus Domino:Interactive services detection on Win7:password

We installed and configured a Remote loader for Lotus Domino on a
Windows 7 PC.
Config: Domino 8
IDM: 402

After connection with the IDM enigine I see the following in the log on
de Windows remote loader:

17:22:51.61]: TRACE: Notes: NotesPublicationShim.start - running
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.61]: TRACE: Notes: NotesDriverShim publisher
Channel: Initializing Notes Session
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.67]: TRACE: Notes: NotesDriverShim publisher
Channel: Accessing lotus.domino.Registration
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.67]: TRACE: Notes: prepSwitchToID: id file:
c:\novell\idm.id
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.67]: TRACE: Notes: prepSwitchToID: id file
path: c:\novell
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.69]: TRACE: Notes: prepSwitchToID: Session
Created by user: CN=idm/O=IDMTEST
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.69]: TRACE: Notes: prepSwitchToID: try to
create id file: c:\novell\zz_ndxml.id
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.88]: TRACE: Notes: Error prepping switchToID
method: error ID = 4000. Message: Notes error: The ID file is not a
Certifier ID file and cannot be used to issue certificates
DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.88]: TRACE: Notes: NotesPublicationShim
start(): calling authenticatetoDomino with sUserIDFile =
c:\novell\idm.id and sUserPwd = <!-- content suppressed -->

After a while there's a commandline window named "Interactive services
detection" which is asking for the password of the Lotus Notes idm.id
file.
The ID file is correct, with correct password (set multiple times in the
driver config) and it's on the correct location.
I also cannot put in the password in the "Interactive services
detection" commandline window. It's not responding, I can only choose
for "return now"

Hi gschouten32,
Do you have c:\novell\*zz_ndxml.id* created?

In some conditions it created without any issue and you will not have
any issues...
In another "unknown" conditions it required dancing with a tambourine
for make it happened...

zz_ndxml.id can be user id without password and without any permission
to your Notes system.
It used just for initiate session (something like IPC$ for MS) and
switch to your real Notes account used by your driver.

Hi,

Your problem is this:

DirXML: [11/04/15 17:22:51.88]: TRACE: Notes: Error prepping switchToID
method: error ID = 4000. Message: Notes error: The ID file is not a
Certifier ID file and cannot be used to issue certificates

The ID file you're using was not certified during account creation. You
need to use the Admin, and then certify the account. I don't know how to
do this after the creation.

I normally never use Add User as it will only create the user in the
Notes Database, to create a user which have a certified id file you need
to use 'Register User'.
