NetiQ IDM 4.5 - fields not getting visible in IE11

Hi,

In IDM 4.5, if the hidden field is in the first element of a row, then
it does not get enabled if we try to make it visible using a script.

Example: make a dropdown, with options hire and rehire. below it there
is a search control which should only be enabled if there is a rehire.

In our case, this is not getting enabled in case of IE9/11. this works
of we bring the search control to the right of the select box.

Is there any workaround for this? Thanks

Regards
Arjun

Greetings,
Similar to your thread "NetIq Identity Manager 4.5 Datepicker not
getting hidden", I am not able to reproduce your issue. I have tested
where the first field on the form is a hidden (set form.hide in events
tab) and the second is the dropdown list. I have tested where the
dropdown list is #1 and the hidden field is #2.

You are also switching between two key terms "hidden" and "enabled"
There is a big difference between showing/hiding a field
form.show("%name-of-field%");
form.hide("%name-of-field%");

and enabling/disabling a field

form.enable("%name-of-field%");
form.disable("%name-of-field%");

Can you please provide more details of your set-up? What code are you
using and where are you calling it from?

Re: NetiQ IDM 4.5 - fields not getting visible in IE11

Hi Steven,

Thanks for your reply.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Create a workflow having static list with two list item show and
hide.
2. Create a control type dnlookup "Search User" with one line break and
set its visible property to false on load of form.
3. Create a condition on change of the static list such such
IF(FIELD.GETVALUE()=='SHOW')
{
FORM.SHOW(\"SEARCHUSER\");
}
4. Deploy and run the PRD. The DNlookup field is not visible in IE
11,10,9). Same code is working fine in Chrome.

Hardware/Software:
1) IDM 4.5 deployed on SUSE 11 SP3.
2) Browser: Latest version of Chrome, IE 11,10 running on Windows 7.
