Not able to reinstall Novell components from Windows server

Hi all,

I am trying to reinstall novell IDM 4.02 on windows but I am not able to
remove the novell
components from server.

I was trying to delete some key from registry and delete Novell folder
from system Directory also, but I am not sure what the exact elements
need to remove from registry or what the exact steps to unistall All
novell components from Windows.

In Linux I have used the NovellScrub.sh which in turn delete all novell
components from linux.
But I could not found such utility for windows.

Please Inform me the steps That should be taken to reinstall the Novell
Components from Windows Server 2008 r2

Thanks in Advance

Re: Not able to reinstall Novell components from Windows server

I have used Integrated Installer,So there are not only installed
eDirectory but also RBPM.
I need to delete all of them.
I can see Your lync state only for Edirectory uninstallation from
Windows server.Though I need to delete all of the novell components.

The integrated installer is just a wrapper for various product installers.
It also has a wrapper uninstaller for the installed components, have you tried to run this?

I assume that you have looked through the known issues with integrated installer uninstall.

On Windows, the Metadirectory server uninstallation does not remove the lib directory
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/idm402/idm_integrated_install/data/bpoa6xn.html#bznm6m3

Integrated installer might hang during the Identity Manager uninstallation on Windows
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/idm402/idm_integrated_install/data/bpoa6xn.html#brn2qlf

Once you have run the regular uninstall option (from add/remove programs) - if it fails, then you can manually uninstall each component via add/remove programs. See the following link for more details.
Identity Manager component uninstallation issues

If not, report your issues back here and we can raise bugs related to the uninstall if necessary.
