Password sync status

Is there an ldap query that I can run to check for Password Sync Status
between AD and eDir? I know I can look it up with iManager but I need
to know if I can also get the value through and ldap query.

What does this have to do with the UserApp? Anyway, yes, you can read the
value of DirXML-PasswordSyncStatus from an LDAP query.

Re: Password sync status

But that will not get you the sync status though 😞

It gets the same attribute data that the UA gets. Interpreting it is
another exercise entirely. If that's the question, I have some notes
around here somewhere on doing so.

Re: Password sync status

It does?
I thought the ua did it the same way iManager does, via a live lookup.
I never get anything back if i have wrong firewall settings etc.

Re: Password sync status

To be honest I didn't know where to post this question which is why it
is posted here. Sorry for that. I tried to query on the attribute that
you suggested but I have noticed that not every user has that attribute.
Out of 260 users only 8 had that attribute listed. I know they are all
currently synced because if I bring up iMan and check each user it says
they are synced. Any idea why that attribute might be missing?
