Provisioning Request Forms after 4.7.1 patch

Hi,

I haven't been working with Provisioning Request Forms (and NetiIQ IDM) since over a year from now (last touch with this was on 4.5 version).
Currently I'm reading in 4.7.1 patch notes that: "The User Application interface and the following features are discontinued".
On netIQ Youtube video I can see "discontinued" on every IDMProv screen.

Could somebody explain to me what it's really means? Can I still access IDMProv or do I have to use Dash only for making requests?

I have alot of custom Provisioning Request Forms that provides functionality far beyond entitlements/roles requesting. Will I still be able to use them after patching from 4.5 to 4.7.x?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

what they are doing is replacing the old UA inteface we have had since
3.6 with the new UI (cx) they designed for Identity Governance. It is
unified and consistent.

So they are porting each element of the IDMProv inteface to the CX
interface. They still support form and workflows, it is just the old
interface you are used to is moved.

The endpoint for SOAP calls is still IDMProv just the UI itself is
deprecated.

Re: Provisioning Request Forms after 4.7.1 patch

Hi,
geoffc thnx for reply.

I wasn't sure what You mean by
They still support form and workflows, it is just the old interface you are used to is moved
, so I've installed 4.7 and patched it to 4.7.2. Now I can see that there is no way to access IDMProv anymore. On idmdash I cannot see a way to launch old custom PRD forms. I can make a request for resources/roles (from Access menu), connect custom acceptance workflow with roles, but nothing about launching old PRD.
Previously I was able to build PRD forms with ECMA. The behavior and logic was limited only by ECMA, methods and imagination. Right now all I can see is, that I can request roles/resources from Access menu by choosing user/group/team and resource/role. Is there a different place where I can use previously created PRD's (something that I cannot see)?

For instance I have a PRD form that have a text field where, after choosing a user, I can put list of roles to grant/remove (for instance 200 roles to grant). Can I still use this PRD? Or do I have to type all of the 200 roles in request from Access menu?

Yes, you can configure and publish PRDs as tiles. This works best under the
request -> access page.
The config og these tiles is stored in userapp DB.

The old mechanism for deep linking PRDs is no longer available.
