Greetings,
Just to be clear. You are talking about adding the Description
Attribute to the "User" Entity in the DAL (Directory Abstraction Layer)
in the Designer and deploying it. Then, if a User has a value in their
Description Attribute the Role and Resource UI do not show the Owner
correctly.
Is that correct?

Greetings,
I am still not able to reproduce this. I would tend to believe some
things have been "changed" in your environment from an OTB set-up.
Unless you know all of the changes that have been done, I would suggest
that you set-up a new "test" environment using the Integrated Installer
and take all of the defaults. Then start comparing the two DALs for
differences and then slowly add in each difference to the new test
set-up until you are able to reproduce.
