SAP HR Driver and Object Type A
We are running IDM 4.5 with a connection to SAP HR driver consuming
iDocs. We have gone through documentation to add the Org data to IDM
(http://tinyurl.com/o78nw5e) for object types O, C & S. Now we are
looking to add additional information for the users that include a Work
Location. This information is not in the standard iDoc format (A07)
according to our SAP Admins ("Work Location is not on the standard
"employee data" iDoc").
Can we add the Object A to our SAP HR driver similar to how we did O, C,
& S or is this expected to be covered under the relationship query
(http://tinyurl.com/o8wacfc If that information isn't in the standard
employee data iDoc I can't see how it would be but I need to know what
the best way to handle this would be. The SAP admins are not very
accepting of doing a custom iDoc schema unless absolutely necessary so
the alternative would be to import the Object Type A data similar to the
others but I'm not sure if that is possible.

I have no idea what an A object is, but I would say, look in the
HRMDA07.meta file in your remote loader and is A object in there? Or an
IT that references it?
Have them do a PFAL on a couple of A objects and look at the iDOCS it
generates.
See what they leads you towards.
