SOAP Driver association (add association)

Hi,

I am working on SOAP driver with spml 1.0. I am able call the web
service and create users in the target system.
The user is created on the target system from IDM. but the
dirxml-associations does not contain target systems unique id value. it
has only the driver name #1#.
Also, further modify events throw errors.

How this can be fixed? adding assocation.. value correctly in IDM?

Version: IDM 4.0.2
OS: Windows

Thanks,
kan

Can you post a Level 3 trace of the add and the resulting status/add-association?

And fundamentally, a SOAP shim does not really know what to use as the
Assoc value. You kind of have to specify it yourself.

If you are using the out of the box SPML 1.0 config, you need to go find
where the association is set, and manipulate it to the correct value.
(I could go look, but I am in the midst of stuff and being lazy).

An <add-association>AssocText</add-association> event is as simple as I
just wrote it by hand.

If op = add-association, then the XPATH of text() is the current context
so you can Set XML text as with a target of period (.) to whatever value
you decide it should be. (Selecting it out of the SOAP doc may be
trickier).
