Set user white list for a permission element
Hello everyone,
We are upgrading our clients enviroments to IDM 4.7, so i am in the task o investigating the new User Application Interface.
I need to make available the workflow requeest page in the idmdash, so i created a Permission inside a category in the Application Tab.

The issue is that this page can be seed by any user. So i need to create a withe list of users or groups, this way i can restrict the view of this page. In the older versions i can do that in the Administration>Page Admin tab. But the Permission object is not a page.
Can anyone give me a hint?
Thanks in advance!!

What patch level of 4.7?
This isn’t possible on 4.7.1 or lower 4.7.x
You have to do this under the Requests page in these versions. Then the
trustee of the PRD controls visibility (in conjunction with an IRF).
I think it might be possible in 4.7.2 but have not really tested.

Re: Set user white list for a permission element
I think maybe, this can be done by creating a client in the settings page with the uaadmin, but i cant make the ldap filter work. I really need a solution to this issue because, otherwise, the aplication tab is useless.

Hi!
In 4.7.2 you can configure this in the Identity Applications settings. Not
in the ldap profile, but look at Managing User Access.
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/identity-manager-47/identity_apps_admin_472/data/netiq-change-identity-applications-cliet-settings.html
Note that no trustees defined for the tile on the application tab means
everyone can see it. Also note that you first must create the tile in the
applications tab to have it listed under Managing User Access.

Best regards

Another thing, when i acceses in the Application tab, before the upgrade i can see a lot of default application and some permisson (PRD). Now i see nothing. I cheked the administrator assigments al everything seens right.

Re: Set user white list for a permission element
Already solved, the solution was to clean the cache of my browser.
