We have an environment with IDM 4.7 on Windows and we have noticed some issues with catalina.out file:
- Every day a catalina.YYYY-MM-DD.log file is created, but that file doesn't contain anything, it's empty. So we need to store on that file the information of catalina.out of that day.
- catalina.out file don't clean the information when the day change, so the file still growing and the only solution now is to stop tomcat service, rename catalina.out, and start tomcat service again.
Is someone working with IDM 4.7 on Windows and having the same problem? If so, have you found a solution?
Regards,
Samuel

Open a Service Request for this.
There have been problems with getting catalina.out to roll over properly.
I think there is a fix for this on linux but maybe not on windows.

This is a known problem on Windows = Linux behaves differently.
I believe we need to wait for a Windows fix, if running on Linux is not possible 🙂
