Update IDM4.7 to 4.7.3 on OES2018-SP1?

I'm working in our lab to test migration of old IDM 4.0.1.0 AE to IDM 4.7.3.

I'll be migrating to a new OES2018-SP1 server which I've already installed IDM 4.7.

Before going through the server migration step in Designer, I want to update the new server to IDM4.7.3.

What's the procedure to get that done?

IDM4.7.3's release notes seem to be more about updating a Linux box and not OES.

Will my OES2018-SP1 server running IDM4.7 be updated correctly if I run that "./nds-install"?

Then "./install.sh" to update Identity manager?

Thanks,

Marc

Re: Update IDM4.7 to 4.7.3 on OES2018-SP1?

On OES you should never run "./nds-install" from the idm installation media.
But if you have 4.7 and it runs happily it should be no problem to update to 4.7.3

I always run idm on a plan sles server since it is not dependent on eDirectory in the same way. But as long as you have a supported version of edirectory it should be fine.

Thanks, I figured running that "nds-install" would have been a mistake!

I'll make sure our lab's OES2018-SP1 is fully patched then upgrade its IDM to 4.7.3.
