Dear All,
We would like to allow user to upload their photo as a part of self
service and then sync the uploaded photo with AD
Is this possible, if yes please let me know the steps to be followed.

Thanks in Advance

Regards
Subhash

Greetings,
You can accomplish this using the My Profile page. Users will have
to be granted the permission to modify self in eDirectory and then you
would add the attribute "photo" as one of the attributes they can
modify. Then when the user logs into the User Application goes to ISS,
My Profile -> Edit Information they will have the ability to add/update
their photo

That is a question for the engine-drivers forum. You should ask this
there.

Re: Upload Photo and Sync with AD

Just to add to this. I logged in to the iManager and to a user I
assigned 'self' rights to the 'photo' property.
It still did not help.
Do we need to do some additional steps?
We registered another instance of the Detail portlet and added the
'photo' attribute to the User entity.
What we have now when clicking on Edit Entity button is - it shows the
Display/Hide radio buttons with none of them selected. Even when I try
to select the Display button I do not get the option to choose a photo.

Regards,
Rohit

Re: Upload Photo and Sync with AD

Okay ...ignore it please. I got it working. Problem with our DAL. It had
the photo attribute set up 2 times under the user entity with different
Key values and formats.
