User App 4.5 - Role request is not completing automatically

When I create role assignment request (from User App -> Role/Resource
Tab -> Role Catalog), the request is created (example dn below) and role
is assigned to the recipient.

cn=20160122202307-6534e4ef89984bd2a25cdd8223487f97-0,cn=Requests,cn=RoleConfig,cn=AppConfig,cn=UserApplication...

But, the request isn't completed automatically, still shows as 'Running'
(in User App -> My Task -> Request Status).

The value of the nrfStatus attribute in the request object is still 0.
The Role/Resource Service driver is configured to remove processed
request objects after 7 days.

Questions:

(a) How to mark role request as completed (automatically)?
(b) What is meant by different values of nrfStatus (e.g., 0, 30, 50,
70)

Many thanks in advance for your time to reply.

Greetings,

There are two (2) normal reasons for the above behavior:

1) The Role and Resource Service Driver is not running

2) The user for whom the request was for, was outside of the scope of
the Role and Resource Service Driver.
Please look at the User/Group container DN entry in the Role and
Resource Service Driver.

Re: User App 4.5 - Role request is not completing automatically

Thanks Steven for your reply.

I have checked:

1) The Role and Resource Service Driver is running
2) Users are within scope in the Role and Resource Service Driver

When a request is stalled, if I update the nrfStatus attribute (of the
request object) from 0 to 10, it starts processing again and completed
successfully.

Geoff Carmen posted something showing the nrfStatus values and their
meanings:
