UserApp 4.7.2: Edit user shows error "insufficient rights"

Hi,

if I try to edit a user B with admin user A in the people tab "/idmdash/#/users/" I'm getting the error message "insufficient rights". I checked already the
trustee rights for the container ([all attribute rights] compare, read, write) in the idm tree. The editing admin user A is in the trustee right group
and the user B is in the container.

What can be wrong?

Thank you very much.

Bye,

Robert

Check the relevant entity object (via Designer and the provisioning mode)

You may need to adjust this also.

Hi alexmchugh,

I've checked that now. Everything seems to be ok. The user entity is editable, the user attributes also. We used the directory abstraction layer entity setting in the old IDMProv without problems,
only the new idmdash is making problems.

I checked the admin user A directly in the idm tree. There I can edit the user B attributes without problems. The directory trustee rights seems to be ok.

If I go to the people tab and search for user B and press there the "edit profile" icon, the insufficient rights message is shown immediatly.

Is there another setting or thing what should be checked?

Thank you very much!

Bye Robert

Re: UserApp 4.7.2: Edit user shows error "insufficient right

The solution: Something was wrong with the client profile in idmdash -> settings -> client profile. I added a second profile with the same settings and saved it, then the error was gone.
