Very Slow Login Times on UA 4.5

Running UA4.5 on Linux (Yes, I know 4.5 is out of support). We are working on trying to get an upgrade approved but this is what I have to work with and what I need to fix right now.

Users have been complaining that it is taking them reportedly 5-6 minutes from the time they enter their credentials on the UA login screen before the dashboard loads. I have checked the eDir indexes which all seem ok. I have made sure the Tomcat server and eDir server both have plenty of memory and CPUs. I haven't noticed anything obvious in the catalina.out file pertaining to errors during logins. The only thing I haven't checked is the DB but not sure if that would be an issue. Any ideas on what might be causing such long login times or where I could look? Thanks in advance.
