Windows 2012R2 Remote Loader

Just install IDM 4.02 remote loader on Windows 2012R2. Installation went
fine with no errors. I patched the Windows server to the latest RL and AD
driver as well.

Service starts fine but noticed this error in the Application log.

Any idea??

This is often a data execution prevention error. 0xc0000005 means that the
log4j dll is trying to do something that Windows OS won't allow anymore and
this it's terminated.

Possible workaround is to disable DEP

Otherwise, did you upgrade the JRE to the recommended Java 7 based version?
This is an essential part of patch/install process on Windows 2012.

Also do you have any additional Microsoft security tools installed like the
EMET (Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit) which can trigger such
behaviour in some apps.
