asynchronous password sync

Jump to solution

I believe I read about asynchronous password sync, where the password passes the other events.

Now I cannot find it anymore.

Can anyone give a hint?

You didn't mention which driver used this password sync (drivers can use different methods for password sync or doesn't support password sync at all)
If you talking about AD driver - you can find more info here
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/identity-manager-48-drivers/ad/data/synchronizing-passwords.html
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/identity-manager-48/password_management/data/netiq-idm-password-management.html#netiq-idm-password-management
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/identity-manager-48-drivers/ad/data/tips-on-password-synchronization.html

If I remember correctly some specific tips around AD password synchronization were include in IDM courses from IDM3.
