The step i had done
1. create a file name remote.properties
===========================
METADIRECTORY_SERVER_SELECTED=false
CONNECTED_SYSTEM_SELECTED=false
X64_CONNECTED_SYSTEM_SELECTED=true
WEB_ADMIN_SELECTED=false
UTILITIES_SELECTED=false
===========================
2. setup using command /idmInstallerPath/install.bin -i silent -f
remote.properties
3. copy dirxml_jremote_dev.tar and dirxml_jremote.tar to /usr/idm/
4. unzip dirxml using command unzip dirxml_jremote_dev.tar and then
unzip dirxml_jremote.tar
5. copy .jar file using command cp -r
/opt/novell/eDirectory/lib/dirxml/classes /usr/idm/lib
6. setting the environment variable using command set
RDXML_PATH=/usr/idm/lib/ and then export RDXML_PATH
7. create config.txt in /usr/idm/
==================
-commandport 8000
-connection "port=8090"
-setpasswords password
-password password
-trace 4
-tracefilemax 1024M
-tracefile "/usr/idm/mysql.log"
-class com.novell.nds.dirxml.driver.jdbc.JDBCDriverShim
==================
8. try to start remoteloader using dirxml_remote -config
/usr/idm/config.txt .It return message bash: dirxml_remote: command not
found
9. so i try to define the part using this command

To run the Java Remote Loader you can probably use the script found in the
archive, which I pulled from IDM 4.5 (Advanced) media as shown below:

-rwxr-xr-x n4u_cm/users 545 2014-10-01 06:56 ./config8000.txt

The notable parts in here are the config8000.txt which you have already
modified, the dirxml_jremote script which is made to help you load things,
and the various contents of the 'lib' directory.

The reason you get an error from bash about finding 'dirxml_remote' is
that you did not specify the path. Linux and Unix do not put the current
working directory (CWD) in the PATH environment variable for security
reasons; only windows does that, and it is one of he many reasons that
windows is insecure. As a result, to call any command that is not part of
the PATH, you must specify the path to it, either absolutely or
relatively, which is why you often see './' before a command, such as:

../dirxml_jremote

If you are in the directory, then ./ means "look for the command in the
current directory", telling the computer/shell that you mean to call this
version, vs. some version in the PATH environment variable's directories.

Once you call dirxml_jremote correctly the next likely error is the
inability of this script to find 'java', so be sure that you have the
'java' command in your PATH. You can test this right now by just running
'java' which should give you a lot of "help" text if done successfully, or
else will give you something like "command not found" if not there. If
the latter, install Java and then be sure that the jre/bin directory is in
the current user's PATH; for example if you install to /usr/local/jre1.8.0
then you could run the following to set your user's PATH properly:

export PATH="${PATH}:/usr/local/jre1.8.0/bin"

Put that line in something like your user's ~/.bashrc file (a shell login
script essentially) so that when you load a new shell the PATH is set
automatically for you. FYI: '~' refers to the current user's home
directory, and expands appropriately in Bash. Assuming everything above
was the correct path, you could append to your shell's login script as
shown below:

#make a backup
cp -a ~/.bashrc ~/.bashrc-$(date +%s)

#append to the file
echo 'export PATH="${PATH}:/usr/local/jre1.8.0/bin"' >> ~/.bashrc

Re: install RemoteLoader on Centos

If your 'java' command works already, then presumably your environment's
PATH variable should be fine, unless you forgot to 'export' it when
setting it to include the JRE/JDK bin directory, in which case you should
fix that (see previous response for the example).

Next step, post the debug output from trying to run dirxml_remote as shown
below:

bash -xv ./dirxml_remote

Post the output here in CODE tags (little '#' button in the web UI) and
that may help us figure out why something does not appear to be working.

Re: install RemoteLoader on Centos

You are not running the command I told you to run. JAR files are NOT
executable, so trying to make them executable is never going to work
particularly y with 'bash' as the interpreter. Run the command as shown
and post that output, please.

Re: install RemoteLoader on Centos

Again, this is not the command I said to run; as far as I can tell, this
is the same as what you posted last time.

The dirxml_remote script, not JAR, is a bash script, so it is what you
should be calling with bash in debugging mode.

dirxml_remote != dirxml_remote.jar
