no update on SAP HR driver received from SAP system
Hello,
I'm able to set values for telephone number and fax from IDM vault to SAP HR system on a user that is synchronized with SAP HR but not able to get same attributes update from SAP HR system.
I want to have a bi-directional synchronization on that 2 attributes, the filter and mapping are correctly set on SAP HR driver.
Is there something I have to configure on SAP system to make IDM to listen on this attribute updates ?
Thanks for your help 😉

Why yes, yes you do. Has your SAP fellows set up a Change Pointers Job
that generates iDOCS when attributes of interest change in the SAP system?

The Change Pointers job is how SAP decides something has happened to a
user/position/role/department/location/etc and then sends a 'message'
(in an iDOC) that this event has happened.
Two steps, one Change Pointer Job, second write the appropriate data to
an iDOC. Shim needs access to the iDOC files in its local filesystem.
So SAP should write to a location the RL/Shim can reach.
