start-workflow, add role etc. health check

Hello,

Is anybody performing a "health check" of the RBPM server *before*
calling start-workflow, add/remove role etc?

I know you can check the error variable after performing the call and
then do something, but I'm wondering if somebody is for example checking
the response of the UA load balancer page (healthcheck.jsp) or doing
some other kind of check in the policy builder before issuing the call
to the UA server?

Thanks

We just grab the response and trigger a retry if an error occurs. That
doesn't suit all use cases though - works well enough for us.
