text file source, multi-valued field

Is this supported?

Say for example I have:

"Name","shortname","DN"
"Alex McHugh","alemch,amchug,alex123","alemch\blah\org"

Where the values within shortname are multi-valued. Is there a way to import this?
The "Enable multi-valued attribute support" option is greyed out.

I guess this could be solved by a cleaner script.

I can't work out how to do this via a cleaner script either. The only return option is a string. Can't return an array

What if you have multiple rows with the different values?
Like a join on a database would produce?

Alternatively, you could import the text into a local DB and then import it from there. Extra steps but I've done it with
the local mysql instance before to get around limitations like this.
