Andy Konecny

Online handle: "konecnya"

Home town: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Andy has always loved building things (including the necessary demolition to make more). While trying to get into the Civil Engineering field at one of the worst times to do so, he ended up falling into IT. Before long Andy was working at a Systems Integrator that became a Novell Platinum partner. In 2009 he transitioned to creating Konecny Consulting Inc. with his partner, a documenter, project manger, bookkeeper, & trainer.

Managing NetWare 2.12 and GroupWise 2 (well it was called WordPerfect Office then) were Andy's first encounters with Micro Focus technologies and since, he has gone on to design, deploy, and support Novell-based systems that span the nation. He has participated in Micro Focus' forums since CompuServe days, a wonderful tool to learn from and at the same time help others. You will find him most often in the GroupWise and OES forums, but you never can tell where he will pop up as his project needs and time permits.
