Filters at connectors

Hi,

On syslogNG server we have installed a connector to forward logs to logger. I would like to filter out all the events with condition where deviceEventClassId = Hostd and destinationAddress = 127.0.0.1 at connector level. Hence done modification at connector as shown below but still those events are getting forwarded to logger. Please anyone help me to sort out this issue.

It depends on if you have ESM or Connector Appliance. There difference is subtle, but there is a difference in the filter language.

Hi , Filter can be specified at logger receiver end as well.
