HP Service manager Integration with ArcSight

Hi All,

We are trying to integrate HP SM9 with ArcSight. Using ArcSight service manager connector we were able to integrate and tickets are automatically created in SM9.

But the problem is ,while raising ticket in SM9 ,the service manager title field has “Case created to schedule and track exporting to external event tracking system” as default. We tried to create a case using rule and exported manually ,in that scenaria I am able to customize the SM9 title field. We have ruled pout this option because some manual work is needed in this approach.

Our goal was to populate the rule name field in the service manager title field. (for example Virus outbreak detected instead of “case created….)

Did anyone able to achieve the above.Kindly let me know.

Rajesh,

You might need to modify the properties file to set the field mapping you require.  Check out the following presentation for more details for HP Service Manager 9 Integration.

Please note that there is an update to the "connector" for this. Make sure you have the latest version (check on SSO with your SAID) and go from there. The older one had a few limitations, but follow the PPT from Protect above and you should get a long way to getting this sorted out.
