TTP 54180 - Incorrect deviceHostName sent from Logger to ESM
If the deviceAddress for an event is not resolvable to a hostname in DNS, once the event gets forwarded from Logger into ESM, the deviceHostName will have the IP address of the agent connector that sent this event, instead of being left blank. This is particularly problematic on syslog connectors where large number of events from unresolvable IPs all contain the address of the syslog agent, in the deviceHostName field.

Gary,
Did you ever find a fix for this?
