Currently the user doesn't get any visibility into the hardware required per vuser of a given script. This is important for sizing of on-prem generators. It could mean that a test can result in loadgen resource alerts, which result in the user changing runtime settings or scenario workload profile to work around hardware alerts, instead of running the test they would like to run. This could also mean that VUH are consumed trying to get a acceptable workaround.
It would be good to provide a feedback
- on the vuser sizing, after a test asset is uploaded
- on a scenario, before it is run, on any implications for numbers of generators required.
The feedback could report on likely hardware required and suggest best practice for optimizing the tests, without compromising test objectives.
