Converting Trueclient script to Web HTTP/HTML

 Hi

I wanted to know that after we convert Trueclient script to Web HTTP/HTML , so that the run utilizes lesser resources, does the converted Web HTTP/HTML script gives same browser client performance during load test as a Trueclient script would give?

No. Web HTTP/HTML works in api/transport level. TruClient launches real browsers and operates on UI.

Ok thanks for ur reply, but then is there any particular reason why to record in TrueClient have option to convert to Web HTTP/HTML, since we anyways need to do correlation etc after converting. Rather we can record in Web HTTP/HTML right away.

It depends on your testing scenario. If your steps can be converted to WEB HTTP/HTML and don't require big efforts in correlation/maintenance,  converting TC to WEB brings some advantagies:

1. scalable -  with WEB, you can easily run tests with huge number of Vusrs

2. cost efficiency - compared to GUI Vusers, cost for WEB Vuser is much less
