[LRE TIPS] - Controller/Analysis 2020 cannot connect to ALM 15 which uses SSO, VuGen works fine
Symptoms
When trying to connect from Controller/Analysis of LR 2020, it throws out error:
Failed to login, please contact system Administrator for help
Description: Expect external authentication data but did not get one
VuGen works fine, the issue only occurs to Controller and Analysis.
Controller/Analysis/VuGen are on the same machine.
Solution
Please try the attached hotfix (replace existing file in <LR>\bin, remember to backup existing file first)
