AJAX TruClient IE Script

Hi,

We have created the AJAX TruClient IE Scripts for the application. The scripts relays fine in the Developer mode as well as the load mode. But when executed through PC 12.2 , the script fails at the Launch URL itself, without any error. Please help to execute the scripts on PC. VuGen version 12.02. Thank you.

Re: AJAX TruClient IE Script

Hi,

When the script runs from Performance Center it runs as a Windows service under System or IUSR_METRO account. I system the system proxy is not configured for that user hence the failure.

I suggest setting specific proxy settings in the script run time settings or configure the proxy settings for the Windows account that runs the browser process when the script runs from Performance Center.

Good Luck

Re: AJAX TruClient IE Script

Hi Shlomi,

Thanks for your quick response.

FYI .. We have tried the below options as well :

1. Opening the application URL manually on the LG. - Success

2. Running the script on the Vugen installed at the LG with no proxy setting- Success

Looking forward to hear your advice.

Vikas

Re: AJAX TruClient IE Script

Hi,

Did you configure RTS to run with No Proxy also from Performance Center and it failed?

Did you configure RTS with proxy settings from Performance Center?

The issue has to be related to the fact the Vuser is running as a service under a different Windows account.

You can troubleshoot it by using PsExec to run Microsoft IE under the same user TCWebIELauncher.exe runs.

You can find a reference for PsExec command line here
