Access Violation on second iteration when running through PC

I am getting the following error when running an Oracle 2-tier script on an load generator.

Error: C interpreter run time error: Action.c (1038):  Error -- memory violation : Exception ACCESS_VIOLATION received.

Keep in mind that this happens on the second iteration, the first runs ok. The line of code is a fetch statement.

lrd_ora8_fetch(OraStm1476, -7, 100, &uliFetchedRows, PrintRow550, 2,
       0, 0);

It works fine in Vugen and I can run many iterations.

Re: Access Violation on second iteration when running through PC

what's the loadrunner version?

Have you used web_reg_save_param_ex( ) in your script?

There was an error in implementation of the product in v11.0...if this is the case with you..you need to get a fix from HP

Re: Access Violation on second iteration when running through PC

Hi,

if this issue got resolved, Please let us know the solution.

I am facing the same issue, script is failing at 2nd iteration in Vugen at below statement -

lrd_ora8_fetch(OraStm1, -604, 300, &uliFetchedRows, PrintRow2, 2, 0,
0);

Error message -

_9_D9011(38): Error: C interpreter run time error: _9_D9011 (38):  Error -- memory violation : Exception ACCESS_VIOLATION received.

Protocol - Oracle - 2 tier

LR version - 11.52

Installed patches -
HP LoadRunner Service Pack   11.52
HP LoadRunner Service Pack 11.52 Patch1

Thanks,

Yathish

Re: Access Violation on second iteration when running through PC

Please note that same script is working fine in LR 12.02 & LR 12.50

But we have a license only for LR 11.52.

Thanks,

Yathish
