Anyone used Loadrunner on Unix?

Hi

I was wondering how people have found using Loadrunner on Unix as an injector?

The benefits, issues, configuration, how long it took. I read somewhere that some functionality (lr functions) or runtime settings might not be available on Unix. We're thinking of using it on Solaris...

Cheers

Re: Anyone used Loadrunner on Unix?

My advice is to go with a windows server; it looks like HP and Microsft have partnered for this--HP products will work just fine on Windows. Going into non-windows servers, will require extra twicking, limitations and more painful.

If I were you, i would stick to windows and only move into a linux/unix server if i had no other choice.

thanks

Thanks for the advice. Would you know what the limitations are by any chance?
