Authentication Change Query

Jump to solution

Hi,

I installed and configured LRE 2020. For my authentication I set up LDAP and selected it as the authentication method in Site Configurations. However, before I had a chance to import the users (including my user ID) LRE closed out and went back to login screen!

So now unfortunately, I have LDAP authentication set up, but no users defined and I cannot log in!

I tried using my LRE admin credentials but these are not accepted.. 😞

Is there any way I can reset the authentication back to Application without having to uninstall and reinstall the whole LRE 2020 again?

Hi,

Please update in the following file: ....<LoadRunner Enterprise installation folder>\LRE_BACKEND\appsettings.json ,  in the first section the AuthType should be "Internal" instead of LDAP

{
"Authentication": {
"AuthType": "Internal"
},

Thank you Aliza! That did the trick. I can now get back into LRE Admin with the admin user I created during the installation. I have reset my LDAP configuration and imported all of the users I need into the system.

Also thank you for the webinar last Monday. It was very informative and helpful for my team.
