BPT - Performance Queries

we are using BPT in our project and are facing performance issues, related to thoese issues have soem queries. It would be really great if someone can answer these-
1) Are there any particular patches that can be installed to improve the QC performance?
2) What happens when a BPT/QTP test is fired from QC ?( from the architectural perspective)
3) Are there any best practices that can be implemented to optimize the download time of a business component by QTP from a QC server?
4) We are executing a test plan with 80 components for a web application; the total test execution time is 20 minutes from BPT, time to test the same functionality through QTP script is 6 mins. Please suggest some measures for maximum improvement that can be achieved compared to QTP script
5) Is there any way to tune the queries that hit QC database that downloads the component?

Re: BPT - Performance Queries

firstly, I suggest you to request moderator to move this thread to Quality Center forum.

1) yes, whats your QC version?

Most of the performance and other isssues are fixed in patch 28 and above in v9.2.

2)It invloves a remote agent and then your test starts executing on local or remote host, as specified by you.

What's your extact question??
