By-pass Perf. Center and use Original LR Controller?

Jump to solution
Hi,

I'm just reading about Performance Center, as I'm coming up to a project which uses it; Due to their Business requirements and the complexity of the system it may not be possible to properly schedule through Performance Center.

I'm not on the ground yet; but is there a way to use the original LR Controller program in their environment with their licenses?

A controller gets installed on every host machine that you create. The Performance Center configuration dictates which is licensed as a controller. So yes, all you have to do is log into the host with the licensed controller and start up the controller just like it was a LoadRunner installation.

I have been working on a project that owns Performance Center for going on three years and I use the Controller directly instead of the pain of using the PC interface.

Yes, you just use the host setup with the Controller license just as before.

Just to clarify: you can boot up the controller machine and I'll see the standard LR controller install there and ready to use?
