COM and DCOM errors after HPPC install/upgrade

I have noticed a pattern that whenever I install HPPC or upgrade from HPPC 9.5 to 9.52 or patch P002, when I reboot there is cascade of COM+ errors.

The registry entry which is causing this is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Ole\DefaultAccessPermission. The workaround is to delete this key, reboot, then fix the Default Access Permissions via dcomcnfg.

I hope this helps some people. I reported this to the support group, but the response (and I am paraphrasing here) was "Uhh... WHUT?"
