Can I try out running tests in Performance Center without Windows server os?

I've never used Performance Center, and would love to try it out, so I can use it with my customers / perhaps recommend it to them. When I downloaded the community edition, it says I need Windows Server os, which I don't have currently available.

What I'm mostly interested in is running load tests through the web interface and to get to know it, as that's what I'd mostly do for customers.

So is there a way to test running load tests on performance center with host machines only, or is the server a must have? I have a few normal windows machines and linux machines available.

I hope someone can answer my question, even if the answer is the one I'm not hoping for.

Thanks in advance
