Cannot install Analysis SA 9.52 patch

I downloaded and installed the standalone Analysis tool 9.50, then downloaded and installed the 9.51 patch. I downloaded the 9.52 patch but when I try and install it, I get this:

Upgrade patch cannot be installed because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the patch may update different version of the program. Verify That "HP LoadRunner Software 9.51" exists on your machine.

Well, it certainly _does_ exist ... I just installed it! And it runs! So why can't the patch find it?

Re: Cannot install Analysis SA 9.52 patch

The problem is that 9.50 and 9.51 were written for only 32 bit systems.  Your new Windows 7 machine must be a 64 bit machine.  So 9.50 and 9.51 load just fine, but go into the Software\Wow6432Node registry key.

If you are comfortable with hacking your registry, follow the link here:

REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY.  🙂

Hope this helps.
