Jump to solution
Hello,

We have a customer who is looking to upgrade their DB2 z/OS v 8 to version 10 and would like to conduct performance testing possibly with LoadRunner 11.

Anyone with experience in this?

Thanks

I didnt worked on DB2 but worked on similar kind of requirement. We migrated from SQL server 2000 to 2005 and we did the performance testing and bench marked the results. The procedure is we need to identify the frequent hitting queries/SPs by taking the trace for 2-3 days and identify them as the performance requirements. Develop scripts using ODBC protocol for both the servers and consider one as baseline and the other as regression script. Execute both of them for similar duration and benchmarch the results accordingly. In this way we can conclude that the server migration have not resulted any performance issues. Hope this information helps. 🙂
