Data processor set up/configuration for Performance Center 12.01

Hi,

We are upgrading to PC 12.01 and would like to understand where to download/install and/or how to configure data processor for PC? We could not find anything on the files/software we have and also not on your website.

Any quick help is appreicated.

Thanks,

Hello,

I'm not sure which PC version you are upgrading from however the "Data Processor" is a PC Host similar to a Controller or Load Generator. To implement a Data Processor you need to install the PC Host software and then configure the PC Host as a Data Processor when you add the PC Host to your PC environment. You can configure a PC Host to have a single role or indeed be multi-role e.g. Controller, Load Generator and Data Processor all in one. What you do depends on the size of your PC environment.

For more on this refer to the HP ALM Performance Center 12.01 Installation Guide available at:

Best regards,
