Error while playing back the script in VUGEN

Hi,

I am getting the following error while playing back the script, but the application works
fine when we do the operation manually and there is no issue with the application.

Action.c(604): Error -26612: HTTP Status-Code=500 (Internal Server Error)
for "http://projects2.bms.com/sites/load0001/Lists/Calendar/EditForm.aspx?ID=1&Source=http%3a%2f%2fprojects2.bms.com%2fsites%2fload0001%2fLists%2fCalendar%2fcalendar.
aspx%3fCalendarDate%3d9%252F2%252F2009" [MsgId: MERR-26612]
Action.c(604): Error -26366: "Text=

" not found for web_reg_find [MsgId: MERR-26366]
Action.c(604): web_submit_data("EditForm.aspx_2") highest severity level was "ERROR",
5848 body bytes, 358 header bytes [MsgId: MMSG-26388]

The application under test is SharePoint and i used Web Click and Script
protocol with URL based script mode.

I even did the correlation using ctrl+F8 and fixed all the correlation but even
then i am getting the above error.

I am attaching my script script for your reference.

I am getting the error in the following function:

web_submit_data("EditForm.aspx_2",

Sridar.....

Please do not copy paste the script. You can attach the script in a notepad and upload the script.

Re: Error while playing back the script in VUGEN

Try recording 2 scripts with similar business process.
Do not correlate and use windiff to compare and see what else you need to parametrize or correlate.

Re: Error while playing back the script in VUGEN

Also did you set the size of parameter at the beginning of script?

If not then use this function:

web_set_max_html_param_len("10000");
10000 is the size of bytes that loadrunner parameter can save.

Not declaring this cause loadrunner not to save viewstate and eventstate.

Then run the script with extended logs to see if your script is able to capture viewstates and eventstates.

Let us know if you still have a problem.
