Error while running Citrix script in Performance center

Hello All,

I am getting below mentioned errors while running the Citrix scripts in performance center . Scripts work perfectly fine in Vugen and replay is always success.

Error Message:

Error: Connect can not be established - Last Citrix error=13 (Unsupported function), last client error=0 (Unknown client error 0)

Error: ctrx_set_connect_opt("la.ica") failed. Operation exceeded timeout.

Before running the test , the ICA agents were installed in performance center host. The version of the ICA agent is same in both client and server machine.

Could you please help to rectify this error.

Thanks

Re: Error while running Citrix script in Performance center

Hi,

Do you happen to have VuGen installed on that host machine? If so, can you please run the script from VuGen and share whether it pass or fail?

Is the Performance Center agent configured as service or process? Note that Citrix protocol is not supported in service mode since Citrix component which the protocol use does not support it. I requested to check in VuGen in order to understand whether it is related to the fact the agent was configured as a service or a general issue on the host regardless to the agent configuration.

Regards,

Shlomi

Hi,

Script worked fine in the Virtual user generator installed on the host machine.

Could you suggest next steps.

Re: Error while running Citrix script in Performance center

Hi Priya,

Citrix does not support running in services mode. LoadRunner Citrix protocol is affected from that as a result.

Please configure the Performance Center agent to run as process (see instructions over here just note that in PC the agent name is Performance Center and not LoadRunner. It is just a naming difference, the rest is the same)

After doing so please do not log out since the agent must be running on the machine. You can lock the machine instead.

Also, please avoid running Re-configure host as it will reset the agent back to service.

Run the test and please share the status 🙂

Thanks,

Shlomi
