Firefox and Chromium browser not running in HP Performance Center 12.55

 Hi,

I am using HP Performance Center 12.55 for the scenario run and HP Load Runner 12.60 for Vugen.

In Vugen When I am validating the scripts using (Truclient Browser and IE) it works fine.

But the same when I am validating it in HP Performance Center 12.55 with FF and Chromium the scripts are not running only just the Vusers are activated and transaction flows gone away.

Note: With IE Browser the script got initiated and transactions are passed in HP Performance Center 12.55.

Re: Firefox and Chromium browser not running in HP Performance Center 12.55

Scripts created in VuGen 12.60 WILL NOT work properly in LR 12.55 OR PC 12.55!

There are many updates to the TruClient code in  VuGen 12.60 that the PC 12.55 CANNOT handle.

HIGHLY Recommend you upgrade  ALL machines in your PC environment to 12.63 and All VuGen machines  to 12.63

Running new script (12.6x) in old PC environments (12..57 or lower) is not supported

Re: Firefox and Chromium browser not running in HP Performance Center 12.55

Hi,

For me it looks that you not have supported version of Mozilla Firefox or Chromium on the LG's. Did you install the browsers on the LG's?

I think that in Vugen they are build in versions, but when you use LG's + Performance center/Loadrunner you need to have browser installation.

Valentin

Re: Firefox and Chromium browser not running in HP Performance Center 12.55

Your TruClient SCRIPTS  created in VuGen 12.60 WILL NOT WORK in LoadRunner 12.55 or Performance Center 12.55

For the TruClient protocol scripts, there are built-in versions for Firefox and Chrome (Chromium) that CAN NOT BE UPDATED !!   There are many updates to the TruClient code in VuGen 12.60, which PC 12.55 CANNOT handle. The biggest change being the supported Firefox (TruClient browser) and Chrome (Chromium) versions being used within the TruClient protocol for LR and PC.

In LR/PC 12.55 the TruClient version of are:

  • Firefox 40.03

  • Chrome - Chromium 55

  • Internet Explorer 10, 11

In LR/PC 12.60-12.63 The TruClient version of are:

  • TruClient browser - Equivalent to Firefox version 58.0.2

  • Chrome - Chromium 63 (12.60 & 12.61),  Chromium 68 (12.62 & 12.63)

  • Internet Explorer 10, 11

Your ONLY options are :

OPTION 1 --- Re-record all of scripts in VUGEN 12.55

OR

OPTION 2 --- Upgrade Performance Center to Version 12.60, if you  go with this option recommend you apply the PC 12.63 patch to all machines after upgrading to 12.60.

HIGHLY Recommend you upgrade ALL machines in your PC environment and All VuGen machines to same and newest version!

OR

OPTION 3 --- Hire someone to do the testing for you, the right way

Re: Firefox and Chromium browser not running in HP Performance Center 12.55

Hi,

Thanks for the Update and we are already in progress of upgrading to the latest versions of both LR and PC.

Confused by your Option 3 highlighted point ?
