HP.LT.Logger warning in Event Log

Hello,

I have a ALM/PC 11.51 with five hosts. I am getting the following Warnings on ALL of the hosts:

EventLog:

Computer: HOSTNAME

Source:       HP.LT.Logger

Category: None

Type:         Warning

Event ID: 0

Description: Failed instantiating context provier Could not load file or assembly 'HP.PC.Security.SSO' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.

Thanks

Oscar

Re: HP.LT.Logger warning in Event Log

Hello Edi,

No.  I really do not get any errors when executing a PC Test.  The only problem is that I do not know what the error means and my Windows Team are Budding me to fix the errors in the Event Log.

Thanks

Oscar

Re: HP.LT.Logger warning in Event Log

Hi Oscar,

If you do not have other issues with the host(s) thess warning messages can be safely ignored. Notice that it is a warning not an error message.  It appears because there is a newer version that the runtime loads while the assembly cache still has the old version.

If you still would like to suppress these messages from the event viewer, you can apply a filter to exclude the corresponding eventID.

Kind regards,
