Thanks all for your help !

Issue is resolved now, we have changed all references of LGs with IP instead of DNS name and it resolved the issue.

Hi Mukesh,

Please make sure that UACDEP and Firewall are off in the LG machines.

-The default PC user: IUSR_METRO in Admin group.

-Run Host Configuration Wizard tool on PC Host.

- Try to run LG as process and service.

Thanks Chau for your respone,

UAC and DEP are disabled on these machines, Firewall cannot be so added th LGs using MI Listener and able to use them as well. These issues appears when I use multiple LGs.

On host machines I have replaced the IUSR_METRO with the domain users and domain user is added in admin group. And few of the LGs are installed as standalone load generators (over the firewall) as well for whihc IUSR_METRO user cannt be changed so kept as it.  IUSR_METRO user is added in the machines on which standalone load generator is installed and added in admin group.

Getting the issue with both hosts and stand alone load generators as well.

Please advise.

Thanks

Mukesh

Hello,

Check DEP, UAC and IE ESC are disabled with LR detect on the problematic machines.(http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/KM00664831) as domain policy might return default restrictive settings. If that’s ok, you should proceed as the follow:

On the hosts go to orchidtmp folder on the host and check the actual error you have. Default logs are on “C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Performance Center Host\orchidtmp\LTLogger\LTOPSvc\log.txt “. The log.txt will expected to contain more relevant error description

You shield also check the log of PC server.

Default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Performance Center Server\orchidtmp\LTLogger\w3wp\log.txt

Regarding standalone LG my understanding is that they all of them are OVFW. You should check how MIL is configured and if you have working LGs, you should repeat the configuration on the failing.

All the best,

Ivo

Hi Ivoh

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked with LR detect, DEP and UAC are disabled where as not able to find the IE ESC. Please advise if missing on anything.

I will dig more logs and will get back to you on this.

Hello Mukesh,

Have you checked the logs from the PC Server? orchidtmp folder (<PC installation path>/orchidtmp) and from the problematic machines? (temp folder).

If you do a system healthcheck on the lab management does appear any message regarding those machines that you are trying to use as LG?

Are all the LG (SA/Host) on the same version?
