Re: How do we do JVM tuning using Load Runner?

You would want to record scripts to test your Java application and create a test scenario.

Run baseline performance tests against your application to determine if there are any problems with the application.

Once you are happy with the results of the baseline tests start making changes to the JVM one at a time and re-run your test to see if it helped or hurt the performance when compared to the baseline test.

Continue this way until you have the best performance.

Google IBM and other sites for advice on JVM metrics to change to improve performance of your specific application.

Good luck,

Alan
