How to Capture Page Rendering time

During the performance test of heavy java scripting application it is found that the response time captured are not accurate as the page rendering is taking 50% more time than the response time captured.

Is there a way to capture response time with page rendering time?

is there a way to customize the script to display respone time after full download of the rendered web page?

Please advice.

The rendering time is a end client browser specific thing. You can determine the browser times at a sample end client machine using tools such as HTTPWatch or Fiddler.
